Yves Salomon Éditions presents its first interior collection, a furniture series that translates the Maison’s century-long understanding of materials and their relationship to the body into a new language for the home. Composed of an armchair, sofa, ottoman, and daybed, these pieces explore comfort, sensuality, and the instinctive need to touch.

Founded in 1920, the Salomon family built its reputation through exceptional material expertise and craftsmanship. Since joining the family business in the 1970s, Yves Salomon has transformed this inheritance into a contemporary luxury house, expanding its material expertise while preserving the knowledge passed through generations. With the creation of Yves Salomon Éditions in 2024, this philosophy expanded beyond the garment and into the home, applying the Maison’s understanding of construction, touch, and craft to the spaces where people live.
The first complete furniture collection conceived by Yves Salomon Éditions follows a series of collaborations that established the project as a distinctive voice in collectible design, including most recently Michael Bargo’s Kentucky, Paris: An American Private Room, presented during Milan Design Week. Through projects with Pierre Chapo Création, Pierre Marie, and Dimorestudio, Éditions explored how different designers could reinterpret the Maison’s archives, materials, and craftsmanship. Each collaboration revealed new possibilities for translating Yves Salomon’s expertise into interiors.
Tactile Monuments emerges from that accumulated experience as the first collection to fully express the creative language of Yves Salomon Éditions. Developed through an ongoing dialogue between Yves Salomon, Tamara Taichman, Artistic Director of Yves Salomon, and Marcellin Boyer, Creative Director of Yves Salomon Éditions, the collection brings together three perspectives: generations of craftsmanship, a contemporary artistic vision, and a shared belief that furniture is defined through the way it is touched, experienced, and lived with.
